Comments from Some Past Course Participants
Jackie Brown

What an outstanding job you guys have done with providing on-hands and call-back training for what use to be a cumbersome notion. Course Management Systems are never seen as easy training, but somehow your team has managed to anticipate your adult learners’ competencies, needs and learning styles. Your blended approach of individual attention, in-class group work, projects and online communication managed to keep us stimulated and focused.

The call-back component of your program needs special commendation, as this is indeed the

missing spoke or gear in the wheels of course management training and learning. The fact that it is scheduled in quick succession of the larger group training, it really helps to reinforce what was learnt and make the training received even more meaningful. The latter specifically because one actually gets to implement the training and it is thus not lost within the deep recesses of our minds.

Keep up the splendid work and feel free to use me as a solid proponent or supported of the invaluable training that you offer the university teaching fraternity.

Quick thinking on the part of the instructors of ClassWeb 4 Professors. This course has completely transformed my position about Course Management Systems . Frankly speaking, I was quite skeptical as to how these systems can effectively support my instruction, but now I am a devout user of ClassWeb for all my instructional activities. I strongly recommend this course to my fellow "skeptics" and wish to assure them that they will find the act of participating in this course not only enlightening, but deeply rewarding.

The course was well laid out. I did not have any problems as far as understanding what I was supposed to do. Everything made sense to me. I thought that the step-by-step process was good. I like to have goals and the format made it easy for me to make plans to complete one activity on any given day and be done for that day. That was really comfortable for me. I don’t think that any one activity seemed more difficult than the preceding activity.

To be honest, I have taught for many years at a tertiary level and have gone to e-learning courses before, but your course management training has sold me on the concept.

Thank you for highlighting the ease of use of the course management system and for dealing with the concepts in an integrated and relevant fashion. I particularly appreciated the fact that our level of competence as filled in your website, was actually used to inform the pace of the training sessions.
